Determining my core size:
There are many wide format printer models currently in use. These models either use media with a 2” or 3” core. The core is the inside diameter of the cardboard core your paper or media comes on. If you are unsure take a ruler or tape measure and check it. Here are some quick rules of thumb: HP Pagewide XL printers all take 3” core media, Most Canon printers take 3” core, Most HP Designjet printers take 2” core with exceptions for models such as the T3500, XL 3500, T7200 which take 3” core. Xerographic printers such as Ricoh, KIP, or Oce’ take 3” core. Some models that take 3” core also come with adaptors for 2” core. Please call 800-255-8012 or email sales@topazeng.com if you are unsure.
